"There are no true knights, no more than there are gods. If you can’t protect yourself, die and get out of the way of those who can. Sharp steel and strong arms rule this world, don’t ever believe any different."

Awwww! Sixsmith from Cloud Atlas will be in Agent Carter. That’s the best news I’ve heard this week!

As if I needed another reason to be excited about that show!

BLACK WIDOW #13 NATHAN EDMONDSON (W) • PHIL NOTO (A/C) • The world has turned against Black Widow. Her web is broken. How will she deal with this? • The final path to Chaos is at her feet, but will her own demons keep her from finally taking it? • What happened to Isaiah? Can Black Widow still turn to the Avengers, or even to SHIELD? • The creative team celebrates the first FULL YEAR of their astonishing unbroken run!

Congrats to the series and creative team on the longest Black Widow run ever, and making it past issue twelve. Keep going!

Top 6 super powers? In detail, yeah? ;)

Awww, thank you so much!

1. Shapeshiftinhg. This is the ultimate, most perfect superpower for me. Like… seriously. Imagine shapeshifting, just imagine it. Imagine you could always look whatever you want to look like. No body issues, no worries about appearances, nothing like that. You could be as beautiful and charming as you want to be. Also, that superpower makes you the ultimate spy, the spy of all spies. It’s pretty cool, isn’t it?

2. Telekinesis – the ability to move objects with the power of your mind. This ability has always been incredibly special for me. My most favorite superhero growing up – Jean Grey – had that power and I’ve always considered it incredibly useful and quite powerful. You can protect yourself, you can push people off, you can make those really, really cool gestures with your hands and so on. And you can be strong, really strong, without having muscles.

3. Flying. Because there was always something incredibly beautiful about flying, incredibly liberating. You’d have the sky and what more could you want if you have the sky? My favorite line in A Song of Ice and Fire will always be “You will never walk again, Bran… but you will fly.”

4. Telepathy – this was also a part of Jean Grey’s abilities, so it also has a special place in my heart. For me this is a double-edged knife – it gives you an actual power over people, but it can also be a horrible burden. And I generally like how it’s been used in most movies, especially in X-men First Class, where Charles had it.

5. Invincibility / Unbreakable skin – because with that power, you are SAFE. Always. Nothing can hurt you. Or at least nothing can hurt your body. Your heart could still get broken, but you can fix it, you can fix everything as long as your body is unhurt.

6. Healing ability. Not self-healing, but the ability to heal other people. It’s the perfect power for a selfless person, something really good, really helpful, something you can do no harm with, something purely altruistic. I’d really love to have something like that (but apparently I’m mostly selfish, since it’s not even in my top 5 :D ).

alayneestone:

Her boots tore ankle-deep holes into the smooth white surface of the snow, yet made no sound. Sansa drifted past frosted shrubs and thin dark trees, and wondered if she were still dreaming. Drifting snowflakes brushed her face as light as lover’s kisses, and melted on her cheeks. At the center of the garden, beside the statue of the weeping woman that lay broken and half-buried on the ground, she turned her face up to the sky and closed her eyes. She could feel the snow on her lashes, taste it on her lips. It was the taste of Winterfell. The taste of innocence. The taste of dreams.

Katniss doesn’t move a muscle and yet her eyes say a lot.

I just love how Effy manages to look artistic even with the little material she has to work with.
