Jack Shephard will always and forever be my hero.
Obviously, Matthew Fox will not. I feel incredibly sad hearing this… Nevertheless, truth must be told. Always. And I don’t think Dominic Monaghan would make up something like this. So here we go…

I hadn’t seen it in like 3 years… God, how much I love that movie.
The naivety of it, the heroism, everything is just… perfect. I was born and raised for this shit. And the cast is perfect and there are like a thousand cameos from TV stars that weren’t famous back then, but are pretty big now. And my old DVD disc is still working perfectly. I bought in waaaay back in 2004, I spend all my Christmas money for it, it was one of the first discs I ever bought.
For most people this is just a movie for children. For me it’s religion.

∟100 Favorite Female Television Characters: - Buffy Summers (portrayed by Sarah Michelle Gellar)
“I hate this. I hate being here. I hate that you have to be here. I hate that there’s evil and that I was chosen to fight it. I wish a whole lot of the time that I hadn’t been. I know a lot of you wish I hadn’t been, either. This isn’t about wishes. This is about choices. I believe we can beat this evil. Not when it comes. Not when its army is ready. Now. Tomorrow morning, I’m opening the seal. I’m going down into the Hellmouth and I am finishing this once and for all. Right now, you’re asking yourself what makes this different. What makes us anything more than a bunch of girls being picked off one by one? It’s true. None of you have the power that Faith and I do. So here’s the part where you make a choice.”

Being a geek is all about your own personal level of enthusiasm, not how your level of enthusiasm measures up to others. If you like something so much that a casual mention of it makes your whole being light up like a halogen lamp, if hearing a stranger fondly mention your favorite book or game is instant grounds for friendship, if you have ever found yourself bouncing out of your chair because something you learned blew your mind so hard that you physically could not contain yourself — you are a geek.
The Mary Sue defines what it means to be a geek — and I couldn’t have said it better myself.

But what the world fails to realize is that a villain is just a victim whose story hasn’t been told.

Fandoms are a lot like English teachers, they read into the story so much that they come up with logical things that the writer never even realised.
